清大資工系一位年輕的教授王浩全寫信給我，告訴我資訊學界有一個跨學科領域的 UX 研究群 SIGCHI（Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction），長期以來都致力於跨領域的 UX 研究。這個學群 SIGCHI 的宗旨跟我的期待很相合：「We are an interdisciplinary group of computer scientists, software engineers, psychologists, interaction designers, graphic designers, sociologists, and anthropologists, just to name some of the domains whose special expertise come to bear in this area. What brings us together is a shared understanding that designing useful and usable technology is an interdisciplinary process, and when done properly it has the power to transform persons' lives. 」
